About Nomad Family Hub
Nomad Family Hub is a practical resource for parents who work remotely and are raising a family on the move — long-term travel, relocations and worldschooling in Thailand and the wider Southeast Asia region.
It exists because the useful information is scattered: half-right forum threads, visa rules that changed last year, insurance policies written for a two-week holiday. We break each challenge down into a step-by-step guide, checked against official sources and against what actually happened when we did it ourselves.
What we cover
- The DTV visa and other Southeast Asia visa routes for families
- Worldschooling and distance curricula (we use Wolsey Hall Oxford)
- Family health insurance for long-term travellers
- Multi-currency money, transfers, taxes and budgeting
- Housing, cost of living, connectivity and travel with kids
How we make money
Some of the tools and services we recommend pay us a commission if you sign up through our link, at no extra cost to you. We only recommend things we use with our own family, and a commission never changes what we recommend or what we write. Full details are in our affiliate disclosure.
Who writes this

Written by Fabrizio Bestoso
Fabrizio Bestoso is a digital entrepreneur and the father of a family that lives and works on the move across Thailand, Asia, Spain and Middle East. He started Nomad Family Hub to turn the logistics his own family works through — the DTV visa, health insurance, multi-currency money, distance schooling, work — into step-by-step guides, each checked against official sources and against what actually happened.
